Our MISSION
Our mission is to support the mental, emotional, and trauma-related needs of individuals and communities around the world by providing accessible education, nervous-system literacy, creative therapeutic programs, and integrative healing resources.
Our Story
ELUMINA MAUI began long before the world shifted. Its origin was born on Maui, a place where community, culture, and nature are inseparable from daily life. What started as a small initiative to support emotional wellbeing during challenging times quickly grew into a much larger calling.
In the post-pandemic years, we witnessed rising fear, isolation, anxiety, and loss of stability across all age groups. As we expanded our support, the Maui fires became a pivotal moment, revealing a deeper need for trauma-informed education, emotional resilience, and accessible community programs. Through those efforts, we saw firsthand the universal longing for tools that bring calm, clarity, connection, and hope.
Today, ELUMINA MAUI has evolved into a global mission. We serve individuals and communities across the world who are facing stress, uncertainty, trauma, and emotional overwhelm, while remaining deeply rooted in the heart and wisdom of Maui.
Why Our Work Matters
The world is experiencing a mental health crisis. Rates of anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma are higher than ever. Many communities lack the resources, support, and education needed to navigate emotional challenges in healthy and sustainable ways.
Traditional systems are overwhelmed. Families are struggling. Young people are facing unprecedented pressure. Caregivers and first responders are carrying emotional weight without adequate support. Many individuals simply do not have access to tools that help them understand and regulate the impact of stress and trauma on their daily lives.
ELUMINA MAUI exists to fill this gap with education, support, and community connection that empower people to stabilize, heal, and rediscover resilience.
